A bit behind on this post as Shok1 and myself did this a good few weeks ago…
It’s a more conceptual approach to our recent collaborations ‘Life imitating art’ is an experiment in re-imagining a piece of art.
I painted my geometric construction first and Shok followed my contours and shapes to recreate his own interpretation with his now trademark x-ray style.
I had an amazing night at the vernissage of mine and RCF1′s new show; Excuse My French at Galerie Celal this week. We had some legends pass through too, Quik, Sharp, Ogre, Alex One, Kan DMV Crew and so many others.

Today is my last day in Marrakech, it’s been incredible! The people are incredible here and the colour and light are beyond beautiful.
Myself, Carlos Mare, Steve More, LX One, Derm and Jaybo all worked on this mural in the heart of the city in front of the long since derelict Koutoubia Hotel. So many local thanked us for our gift and one man, Mohammed even helped us paint the wall.
I shall definitely leave this country with renewed faith in mankind.

So far we’ve painted a mural in the heart of Marrakech with the worst materials known to man and 40 plus degree heat… Almost lost one of the team to heat stroke, climbed a mountain and opened a wonderful show to a even more wonderful crowd.

For now here is the big mural Jason System and myself painted last weekend as part of the Dulwich Festival.
The painting is a modern reinterpretation of both Rembrandt’s ‘Girl at a window’ and Poussin’s ‘Triumph of David’.

I’m off to Marrakech in just 5 days for the Unfolding exhibition with my fellow Agents of Change and immediately following on from that I am showing in the prestigious Galerie Celal in paris with my old friend and great painter RCF1.
I shall be showing new collage works and all new paintings for this show. It’s my first proper show in Paris following the Graffuturism show at Openspace Gallery last month.

Shok1 and myself have been working together on some major moves of late. But when I saw this recent piece he did, which was sadly gone over within hours of it being finished… I was utterly blown away!
There used to be an unwritten law back in our day that you’d only ever go over something if you could burn it. Alas I don’t think anyone adheres to that law anymore…
